For Kevin Flynn, CEO of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India, 2015 is a special year. The Brit national relocated to India two months ago to take over the top job at the company. He was previously based in South Africa, heading the Jaguar Land Rover operations.

But what truly makes the year special is his upcoming silver wedding anniversary on July 12. His wife, Meryl, and he will be going to Udaipur for four days, staying at Taj Lake Palace. “My wife often complains that I don’t plan special occasions. And she is right. She’s the one who organises our holidays and the works. But I have organised this trip," Flynn told ETPanache.

"I think it’s going to be special. Some quality time to relax and reflect." But ask why Udaipur and pat comes the reply. "Meryl found it and gave it to me. She checks regularly if I have booked or not, which I have," Flynn says, amused at the obvious irony.
