Fed up with trolls, actress Richa Chadha locks her Twitter profile

Bollywood actress Richa Chadha had it enough with the trolls on Tuesday morning when she locked her Twitter profile.

Her tweets will now be visible to the actress' approved followers.

The locked profile read: "These tweets are protected. Only approved followers can see @RichaChadha's Tweets. To request access, click Follow."

Right before locking her profile, the 34-year-old actress said that she will delete the app from her phone as it was 'too toxic' and has been draining her energy.

With over 47,000 tweets and 542K followers, the 'Fukrey' star is currently following 2,932 people.

According to a media report, Chadha - who is dating actor Ali Fazal - lost her calm when a social media user asked her when she was getting divorced.

The actress gave a befitting reply and said that he was losing his mind because no one was ready to get married to him willingly. She further said that his marriage won't last, just like Aamir Khan's.

Calling him poor, unintelligent and pitiable, Chadha sent her regards to the user's mother and asked her why she brought this unemployed person into the world.


Richa and Ali have been dating for a long time. The two were all set to get married last year, but the plan was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
