In the now-viral video, Duncan is seen sitting inside a bus, smiling as he recounts his story. He said he met a man named Gaurav just three days ago, but the stranger quickly turned into a friend. Gaurav welcomed Duncan into his home, shared meals with him, took him to a family wedding, and even accompanied him to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Before they parted ways, Gaurav went one step further — he booked a bus ticket to Jaipur for Duncan to continue his journey.
Calling it “unlike anything else in the world,” Duncan said he was blown away by the generosity and warmth he received. His video also shows moments of him sipping chai and snacking on namkeens, enjoying buttery parathas, attending a lively wedding celebration, and standing in awe at the Golden Temple.
For Duncan, what stood out most wasn’t just the sights or the food — it was how a stranger treated him like family. “The Indian hospitality is something like no other. This is insane,” he said, visibly moved.
