Farzi Season 2 confirmed: When and where to watch Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi's show on OTT? Cast and what to expect

The Farzi gang is all set to make a return with Season 2. In 2023, Shahid Kapoor made his web series debut with this black comedy thriller show alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna and Kay Kay Menon. Now, we have a major update about the much-awaited second season as the show marked its third anniversary on Tuesday (February 10).

Update on Farzi Season 2

Taking to X (formerly called Twitter), the makers Raj & Dk announced that "Second batch WIP". The director duo shared the picture, which states that Round 2 is in progress. Despite the fact that no official announcement has been made, the subtle yet simple message was enough to establish that production on the next chapter of the program is already starting.



Shahid Kapoor, who took over the internet with his OTT debut, also contributed to the buzz. Re-sharing the poster on his Instagram story, the actor captioned a photo with Raj and DK, "The fakers are back at it @rajanddk." It increased intrigue and enthusiasm for the next season. However, according to 123Telugu and OTTplay reports, the filming will reportedly start in March 2026 and the show will premiere by mid 2026. Official confirmation is awaited.

In the same report, its been stated that Shahid Kapoor would receive the highest remuneration of his career thus far for this show. He is reportedly receiving a record sum of Rs 45 crore. Meanwhile, the Bollywood actor is currently gearing up for the release of his latest movie O' Romeo alongside Triptii Dimri. Written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the movie is all set to hit the theatres on February 13.

The show, Farzi was a hit and it broke the record of viewership on Amazon Prime Video. Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger and now fans are waiting to witness an intense face-off between Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, and Kay Kay Menon.



The key cast from the first season will return, including Shahid Kapoor as Sunny (The Artist), Vijay Sethupathi as Michael Vedanayagam, Bhuvan Arora as Firoz, Raashii Khanna as Megha Vyas, and Kay Kay Menon as Mansoor Dayal. For the unversed, the South superstar Vijay also played a cameo role of this show in Manoj Bajpayee's The Family Man Season 3. The popular show is currently streaming on Prime Video.
