Farhan Akhtar crosses 5 million follower mark on twitter

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor-director-singer Farhan Akhtar has reached a new milestone on micro-blogging site Twitter with five million followers.

Farhan, 41, who joined Twitter in December 2009, is very happy with the new feat.

"5 million today. Big hug to all and a warm welcome to those who recently be-friended my account. #twitterpetohbantahai (sic)," Farhan posted.

The "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" star has just finished shooting Bejoy Nambiar's "Wazir", which also stars Amitabh Bachchan.

His next release is sister Zoya Akhtar's " Dil Dhadakne Do", which is set to hit theatres on June 5.
