In a recent visit to Rohit Saraf's home, Farah Khan's chef Dilip told Saraf's cook Bunnu how to increase his salary
In his recent appearance in Farah Khan’s vlog, her chef Dilip revealed how he managed to increase his “pagaar” (salary). The director-turned-YouTuber visited actor Rohit Saraf’s home in Mumbai, where he was introduced to the ‘Ludo’ actor’s chef, Bunnu. Farah asked him if he requests the actor to increase his salary daily, to which he said no. Khan quipped to her cook, “Kuch sikh isse!” (Learn from him).

The ‘Main Hoon Na’ director also warned Saraf that Dilip would bring “andolan” to his home (cause his cook to insist on increasing his compensation) to which Saraf requested his chef, “Tu mat sikhna!” (Don’t learn anything from him).

In the next shot, Dilip is seen sharing tips on how to increase his pay with Bunnu. “He doesn’t increase your salary? I’ll tell you how he will increase it. Go and tell him, ‘Pagaar badhaao’ as soon as you wake up in the morning. He will do it on his own. Tell him once, twice, and he will do it the third time. If he doesn’t, then take my number, you can come there,” he said.

How Much Does Dilip Earn?

During a recent visit to Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Sahni’s home, filmmaker Farah Khan lightheartedly brought up the subject of her longtime cook Dilip’s steadily increasing earnings.

In the middle of their casual conversation, she humorously remarked that at the rate his salary was going up, she might eventually have to consider taking on additional work herself just to match his rising income.

Dilip has been an integral part of Farah’s household for more than eleven years. She had once shared with Ashneer Grover’s mother that he had originally joined her staff with a monthly salary of ₹20,000, though she now prefers to keep his current compensation undisclosed.
