Farah Khan gets shocked as Karan Johar says her bedroom needs complete makeover. She renovates and her new bedroom has wooden floors, Hermes decor
Farah Khan has toured many celebrity residences with her chef and trusted assistant, Dilip, offering fans a view into the private areas of their beloved stars. In her home makeover project, she additionally encourages celebrities to suggest indivi...

Rather than suggesting someone else, Karan nominated Farah herself, joking that her home desperately needed a touch of class.
KJo quipped he would like to nominate someone whose home was not “good at all" and who lacked a sense of aesthetics and who needed a complete makeover, and then revealed his choice: Farah herself.
Though taken aback, the Main Hoon Na director asked what type of bedroom he had in mind for her, to which the Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham director said in his trademark sassy humour, “It has to be a bit classy, jo aap ho nahi (which you are not).” He also suggested neutral shades and elegant furniture for the room. His final suggestion? “Choose what you don’t have and what you don’t like for the makeover of your bedroom!”
Although she sent him off, the filmmaker acknowledged the filmmaker is second to none when it comes to glamour and aesthetic sense.
Before the makeover, the bedroom featured a blue-grey ceiling, a king-sized bed with grey upholstered cushioning, a sleek black TV cabinet, and walls painted in muted peach and yellow tones.
How Farah Transformed Her Boudoir
She changed the black-and-white floor covering to wooden floors. She did not paint the walls but added textured panels in elegant pastel and brown hues. The director placed a carpet underneath the bed and another beneath an orange-brown upholstered bench located by the entrance. The majority of the remaining furniture was a flawless white except for the divider separating the bedroom from the vanity space. This partition showcased golden frames combined with fluted panels, establishing a clear distinction between the sleeping area and the dressing space.
She also added a chest of drawers in the centre. It had a pristine marble-finish surface. On the opposite wall was a cabinet where the director stored her luxury bags. She also added a Hermes plate beneath the TV as a decor item.
When the K3G director came back to inspect the changes, he thoroughly praised the director’s efforts.
