Farah Khan and her cook Dilip
Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan’s light-hearted vlogs continue to offer fans an amusing look into her life beyond the film sets. In her latest episode, she is seen visiting actor Boman Irani’s home accompanied by her long-time cook, Dilip. What begins as a friendly cooking session soon turns into a string of playful exchanges and unexpected revelations — especially when Dilip is coaxed into sharing what his boss is really like off-camera.

Friendly Flirting and a Secret Warning

Before stepping into Irani’s home, Farah jokingly told Dilip to keep quiet if she flirts with Boman. Referring to the actor as her “favourite,” she explained in a mock-serious tone that flirting could mean anything from eye contact to sitting beside him. Dilip innocently asked what flirting means, prompting Farah to elaborate in a light and humorous way. When he teased that he would spill everything to her husband Shirish Kunder, Farah immediately warned him not to and even joked about docking his salary.

Inside the house, Farah continued her teasing. She recalled how the only time she ever wanted to conduct a casting couch scenario was with Boman, back when she was casting for Main Hoon Na. She noted that the actor landed the role without ever having to “sit on the couch,” drawing laughter from all around.

Dilip’s Candid Comments Spark Laughter

The most surprising moment came when Boman Irani privately pulled Dilip aside, asking for the cameras to be turned off (though they kept rolling). He asked what Farah is like when not on camera. Without hesitation, Dilip replied that she is “ khadoos (very grumpy).” Continuing the roast, he also said Farah often complains about Boman behind his back, despite always saying nice things in public.

When asked if Farah was following a diet, Dilip chuckled and said she wasn’t. According to him, when on a diet, she eats simple meals like dal-rice or soup-rice, but otherwise, she eats heartily and often.

Camaraderie Shines Through

Despite the jabs, the vlog displayed the close-knit bond between Farah, Boman, and his wife Zenobia Irani. As Farah and Zenobia prepared chutney for fish, their chemistry as old friends was evident. Even when Boman jokingly asked why his wife laughed at Farah’s flirtations, Farah responded by saying Zenobia knew no one would ever believe there was anything serious between them.

The trio reminisced about past memories, including one where Farah mistakenly dressed up and showed up a day early for what she thought was Boman’s birthday party. Laughter followed as they moved to the kitchen to begin the cooking session.

At one point, when Boman playfully tried to step away from the kitchen duties, Farah insisted he stay, jokingly asking who else would apply chutney with such care. The camaraderie, quick wit, and easy rapport among the group added warmth to the humour-filled vlog.

Farah Khan and Boman Irani share a history that dates back to Main Hoon Na, her directorial debut. They reunited in Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi and Happy New Year, and their friendship has only grown stronger off-screen.
