Fancy a royal ride? These three exquisite bespoke Rolls-Royce coupes really impress
Customising a Rolls-Royce is the ultimate privilege of the wealthy. The rich patrons of RR in the Middle East, in particular, have one favourite theme — Indian royalty and exotica.

Maharaja Phantom Drophead
Unveiled in 2013, this Phantom Drophead Coupe is inspired by the Golden Age of the Raja and was handcrafted in honour of India’s affinity with the super luxury marque. It is said that over fi ve decades, Indian Maharajas have purchased over 840 Rolls-Royce motor cars. This Phantom coupe has Carrara white colour exterior that complements an emerald green coachline, inspired by the peacock, the national bird of India. The peacock emblem, embroidered into the headrests in emerald green and cobalt blue, a peacock feather pattern in seashell stitching on the side and central armrests and a bespoke Maharaja peacock clock are the other subtle touches that have been added to the Phantom.

Oud Phantom Coupe The gold coachline expresses the Oud, also known as liquid gold. Oud is the most expensive oil in the world and extracted from wild agar-wood found in Assam. A specially designed scent bottle holder, concealed within the glovebox, completes the sumptuous theme and even contains phials of oud. The interior of the car is detailed with ostrich leather and wood across the dashboard. This wood is dedicated to trees in Assam, which are the source of Oud. This was specially commissioned by Rolls-Royce for Doha.
