Family’s day out: When the Mittals hobnobbed with Kate Middleton
The Mittal family recently rubbed shoulders with British royalty at the opening of a children’s hospital wing in London. The wing in question was bestowed with a handsome donation of £15 million by Aditya Mittal, the son of steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal, a few years ago.

So naturally, when the time came for it to be officially opened, the donor was required to make a speech following that of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, who is the hospital’s patron. And present for Aditya’s short speech was his family — including wife Megha, parents Lakshmi and Usha Mittal, sister Vanisha and brother-in-law Amit Bhatia.

In what is a happy coincidence, Aditya and Megha themselves are set to welcome their third child any day now, this time via a surrogate.
