Facebook Mumbai office ditches traditional chair, cabins for community desks

At the new Facebook office in Mumbai, hierarchy does not reflect in the layout. There are no cabins and there are community standing desks, used by heads and subordinates alike. ETPanache recently visited the social media website’s recently done up colourful office at Bandra Kurla Complex.



Kirthiga Reddy, head of Facebook India, had ditched her traditional chair and desk and was busy working on her laptop at one of the standing community desks.

Facebook is all set to use the swanky new office for its operations.
