Ex-top cop Julio Ribeiro's grand-daughter ties the knot with Nibhrant Shah

Congratulations are in order to the Ribeiro family. Alekha Engineer, the grand-daughter of Julio Ribeiro, former supercop and recipient of the Padma Bhushan award, got married last month to Nibhrant Shah.

The new bride is a fitness trainer in Mumbai and the groom specialises in making luxury homes in the country. The c ouple opted for a simple wedding ceremony, devoid of religious rituals, except for the reception, where Ribeiro gave a moving speech and read verses from the Bible. At the wedding, the couple exchanged rings with 200 guests present to bless the newly-weds.
