Every man should have a well-structured achkan & a classic white shirt, says designer Kunal Anil Tanna
The fashion designer feels oyster is a good shade for any wardrobe.

In vogue
“The pandemic has shifted economic priorities. People are more conscious and are opting for ‘value for money’ products. Comfortable fashion has steadily sneaked its way into every man’s wardrobe and the pandemic has only accelerated that trend, making it more prominent. Athleisure hints, cosy textures and vibrant hues are some of the trends I foresee for Indian menswear.”
Dressing for the holidays
“Festive holiday parties are perfect for experimenting with accessories like cravats. For a New Year’s Eve party, I would recommend a deep-toned textured shacket (a shirt jacket hybrid) with a polo-neck and pleated trousers. If you’re attending a virtual wedding, opt for a minimally-textured ivory kurta.”
The essentials
“Every man should have a well-structured achkan, a kurta/shirt kurta, a classic white shirt, black and brown formal shoes and an enhancing perfume.”
