Esha Deol pens first post after separation from Bharat Takhtani: ‘The sun will rise...’

Esha Deol recently shared a motivational message on her social media platform alongside a captivating photograph. This marked her first post following the announcement of her separation from husband Bharat Takhtani earlier this month. In the picture, Esha is seen wearing a hat and sunglasses, exuding a sense of resilience. Alongside the image, she wrote, "No matter how dark it gets, the sun will rise."

The couple, who had been married for 11 years and have two daughters together, confirmed their separation earlier this month, stating that it was a mutual and amicable decision.

In a joint statement, Esha and Bharat emphasized that the welfare of their children, Radhya and Miraya, remains their top priority. The news of their split had been circulating on social media for some time before they officially announced it. Despite the separation, they requested privacy and respect from the public during this transitional period in their lives.


Esha Deol, known for her acting career and the daughter of veteran actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra, tied the knot with Bharat on June 29, 2012. Esha Deol was among the attendees at the recent wedding of Bollywood actors Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani in Goa.

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in Goa, blending Punjabi and Sindhi traditions, in the presence of family and industry friends including Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Shilpa Shetty Kundra. Singh donned a pastel lehenga while Bhagnani opted for a beige sherwani.

Sussanne Khan's sister Farah Khan Ali commented on Esha Deol's motivational post. "You are gorgeous. You are beautiful. You are strong and don’t let anyone let you doubt that," she said.
