Emotional Krushna Abhishek falls at mami Sunita Ahuja’s feet in viral video. How he and his wife ended a 14-year feud

The upcoming episode of popular reality show Laughter Chefs Season 3 has grabbed everyone's attention after YouTuber and Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja made a surprise appearance on the sets. What was meant to be just another special episode quickly turned into an emotional moment for viewers and the cast alike, as it marked a long-awaited reunion within the Govinda family.

The promo, which has now gone viral on social media, shows Sunita walking onto the set and calling out her nephew Krushna Abhishek by name. The unexpected call leaves him visibly stunned. Within seconds, Krushna rushes towards her and embraces her tightly. The background track, Kitni Baatein, adds to the emotional weight of the moment.

How Krushna and Kashmera ended 14 year feud with Govinda family

Overcome with emotion, Krushna tries to speak but struggles to complete his sentence. He begins by saying it has been 14 years, but pauses midway, clearly overwhelmed. The emotional high point comes when he bends down to touch Sunita’s feet, a gesture of respect and reconciliation that leaves not just Sunita but also his wife Kashmera Shah teary-eyed.


Even in such a heavy moment, Krushna manages to bring in a touch of humour. He jokes, "Mujhe toh aapke charno mein parking mil gayi hai. Today, two cars need parking at your feet," referring to his wife, Kashmera.


Kashmera, who had been part of the long-standing dispute, also takes a step forward. She offers a sincere apology to Sunita, keeping it simple but heartfelt. Her brief “I’m sorry” carries weight.

Sunita Ahuja later confirmed that the family has decided to put the feud behind them. In a statement to Pinkvilla, she shared that there is no point holding onto anger for so long. She expressed that she sees all the younger members as her own children and only wishes to give them her blessings moving forward.

For the unversed, the rift between the families reportedly began in 2016 after a joke on The Kapil Sharma Show did not go down well with Govinda and Sunita. What started as a disagreement soon escalated into a public fallout, with tensions continuing for years. The distance became evident as both sides avoided each other in public and rarely spoke about the issue directly.

However, signs of reconciliation had started to appear recently. In 2024, Govinda’s appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, where Krushna was also involved, hinted at a thaw. Later, when Govinda was hospitalised after an accidental injury, Krushna and Kashmera visited him, showing concern and support. Govinda, too, attended family events, including the wedding of Krushna’s sister Aarti Singh.

Recently, while talking to paps, Krushna revealed that Sunita’s visit to the show was a complete surprise for both him and Kashmera. He shared that after years of speculation and media chatter around their strained relationship, this moment felt like closure. According to him, the reunion on the show has finally ended all rumours and brought the family back together.
