Emma Stone hilariously crashes Druski’s debut SNL monologue as the two film ‘The Catch’: Here’s what we know about the 2027 rom-com they are co-starring in
On November 7, 2026, Druski hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time with Emma Stone. The two joked about their filming expirience on their upcoming film 'The Cacth'. They have just finished filming the film slated to be released in May 2027....

Druski started his SNL monologue by acknowledging that this marked the very first time a content creator hosted the weekly show. “It's a dream to be hosting Saturday Night Live. Apparently, people are saying I am the first internet content creator, social media influencer, only makes you laugh on your phone, TikTok and YouTube and Instagram star to host this show,” Druksi said in a hilarious opening.
Emma Stone joins Druski on SNL
Druski introduced Stone to thunderous applause saying, “I just finished filming my first-ever film with Emma Stone, who is here right now.” He then joked about playing her love interest in the film, to which Stone replied, “I think you might have misread that in those scenes, because we weren’t love interests in the film.”
Stone added, “But now it is starting to make more sense why you kept looking at me like that for all those scenes.” Druski added, that was probably why we didn’t kiss. Druski went on to praise Stone’s work in the 2026 film ‘Bugonia’, hilariously turning around to say, “I just want to be the first black guy to say it.”
During the show, Druksi also parodied Nathan Fielder’s documentary on Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, ‘You Can See Everything’, with ‘Dru Can See Everything’, which showed Druski being Holmes’ first choice for the documentary. “I just want people to see me as an ordinary person. Can you do that, Druski?” Holmes, played by Jane Wickline asked. Druski replied with “Based on what I’ve seen so far, I’m gonna go ahead and say no.”
What is ‘The Catch’?
Both Emma Stone and Druski are set to star in the May 2027 release ‘The Catch’, directed by Stone’s husband Dave McCary. He has previously directed several films including the critically acclaimed 2026 film ‘The Debut’.
It also stars Chris Pine, SNL star Ashley Padilla, Tim Robbins and Irina Shayk. The film set to be released on May 21, 2027 will follow a baseball fan who accidentally changes the trajectory of a game-winning catch, according to film tracking website Letterboxd. According to Deadline, the film is described as a “two-hander rom-com”.
