Emily VanCamp to return in 'Captain America: Civil War'

LOS ANGELES: Actress Emily VanCamp will return as Sharon Carter in the third installment of " Captain America".

VanCamp's plot in the film remains under wraps, reported Deadline.

VanCamp, 28, previously appeared briefly in the second movie, " Captain America: The Winter Soldier", as Captain's ( Chris Evans) neighbour, Kate.

In the comics, Sharon is Peggy Carter's niece. In the first instalment, "Captain America: The First Avenger", Peggy is Captain America's love interest. She later gets her own TV series "Marvel's Agent Carter" on ABC.

The famous Marvel superhero Iron Man ( Robert Downey Jr) will appear in the film as an antagonist character.

Other superheroes who will join Tony Stark in the upcoming movie are Black Widow ( Scarlett Johansson), Falcon ( Anthony Mackie), Hawkeye ( Jeremy Renner), Scarlet Witch ( Elizabeth Olsen) and Black Panther ( Chadwick Boseman).

"Civil War" will arrive on May 6, 2016 Stateside. Anthony and Joe Russo return as directors.
