Elon Musk wants to send people to Mars but Richard Branson is interested about the Earth

But that doesn’t mean that Musk is not a competitor for Branson.

Richard Branson is no stranger to giving advice — he has a dedicated blog for the same. However, when it comes to addressing competition, the Virgin Group chief does not go deep until prodded. In a recent Q&A with a business magazine, the billionaire addressed the race that his space program Virgin Galactic and Elon Musk’s SpaceX are supposedly in. “We haven’t gone completely head to head yet. Elon is interested in sending people to Mars. We are more interested in our earth that we live on,” he said.

But that doesn’t mean that Musk is not a competitor. “We will overlap at some point and he will be a formidable competitor. But, you know, like in most businesses, there’s room for the both of us — and maybe even Jeff Bezos.” No wonder inclusivity is the business magnate’s favourite word.
