Elon Musk takes a 'cringe' jab at LinkedIn after introducing its rival 'X Hirings'
Elon Musk took a swipe at LinkedIn, expressing his reluctance to use the platform due to its "cringe level." Musk's comments resonated with social media users who criticized LinkedIn for inflated titles and false information.

The new 'X Hirings' feature, which allows verified organizations to showcase job listings on their X profiles, poses a challenge to established professional networking platforms like LinkedIn.
A recent post by X user Ian Zelbo, questioning the merits of LinkedIn, prompted Musk to offer his unfiltered opinion.
Responding to Zelbo's tweet, Musk candidly expressed, "People send me LinkedIn links sometimes, but the cringe level is so high that I just can't bring myself to use it, so I ask for the resume or bio to be emailed."
He further added, "We will make sure that the X competitor to LinkedIn is cool."
One user highlighted the prevalence of inflated titles and false information on the platform, emphasizing, "I've seen a lot of people use titles on LinkedIn that don't even exist and couldn't be further from what they actually do at the company."
"LinkedIn needs to have a viable competitor and I look forward to what you will develop, but in the meantime, job seekers need it on so many levels," shared another.
While the 'Hirings' feature is currently undergoing beta testing and is available exclusively to verified organizations in the United States, Musk's ambition reaches further.
