Elon Musk says Twitter will soon allow users to reply to individual DMs, tweet up to 10,000 characters
Musk also revealed that soon Twitter will extend longform tweets to 10,000 characters.

Musk also revealed that soon Twitter will extend longform tweets to 10,000 characters. The 51-year-old was replying to a YouTuber who had reached out to Musk asking about adding code blocks to tweets.
"The dev community and I were wondering if you could add code blocks to tweets?" asked YouTuberA@ThePrimeagen, who posts videos related to coding.
In February, the SpaceX chief had said that the micro-blogging platform will provide users with the ability to adjust the algorithm to their "closer match" in the "coming months".
Meanwhile, the micro-blogging platform has announced that the users will get a "heads up" if a Community Note shows on a Tweet they have replied to, liked or retweeted.
The company tweeted from its @CommunityNotes account: "Starting today, you'll get a heads up if a Community Note starts showing on a Tweet you've replied to, Liked or Retweeted. This helps give people extra context that they might otherwise miss."
