Elon Musk gushes over SpaceX’s Falcon 9 touchdown video, calls it best landing to date
Falcon 9 was launched with 53 Starlink satellites.

The landing was captured from multiple cameras, one of which offered a dramatic descent through dark clouds. The video has garnered millions of views prompting SpaceX chief Elon Musk to put out an appreciation tweet.
Musk shared a tweet by SpaceX handle saying that it was the best landing video ever. He also thanked Starlink in his short tweet.

On Saturday, SpaceX launched Falcon 9 along with 53 new Starlink satellites in its 100th successful space mission. The two-stage rocket took off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, the US at 9:39 pm. Starlink is Musk’s internet–providing company operated by SpaceX that has launched over 2,300 satellites so far.
According to SpaceX, Falcon 9 is a reusable, two-stage rocket meant for reliable and safe transport of people and payloads into Earth orbit and beyond. It is the world’s first orbital-class reusable rocket. This reusability aspect of Falcon 9 allows SpaceX to re-fly the most expensive parts of it making space access cost efficient.
