Elon Musk branded ‘Elona’ by Chechen warlord, Tesla boss responds with a sarcastic tweet

The Elon Musk-Vladimir Putin strife seems to be getting bigger with each passing day. While earlier the American billionaire challenged the Russian President to a ‘single combat’, now it seems new contenders have joined the fray. Ramzan Kadyrov, head of the Chechen Republic, has now come to Putin’s defence.

Kadyrov took to Telegram to issue a warning to the SpaceX chief. “Elon Musk, a word of advice: Don’t measure your strength against that of Putin’s. You’re in two completely different leagues,” Kadyrov said in the opening of his long post. Following the post, Musk shared it with his millions of followers on Twitter.
The Chechnyan warlord said that the Russian president will ‘beat the hell out of you, a much weaker opponent.’


However, it did not stop there, the Chechnyan leader went on to say that Musk would need to pump up his muscles to change from the gentle (effeminate) Elona into the brutal Elon that he needs to be to fight Putin. He later sarcastically listed training academies in the Chechen Republic where Musk could undergo firearms and combat training.

“You will return from the Chechen Republic a completely different person Elona, that is Elon,” said Kadyrov while ending his attack on the Tesla boss.

Kadyrov is said to be close to the Russian President. The Chechen leader is known for his macho image. From wrestling alligators to armed combat, Kadyrov has been frequently seen posing with guns and military garb.

The Tesla boss was quick with his retort. Musk, in a tweet, thanked the Chechnyan leader for his offer. He also took a jibe saying that such training would give him too much advantage over Putin. Musk also said that if Putin was afraid to fight, he would only use his left hand when he is not even left-handed.
Musk signed off his tweet as ‘Elona’ the name used for him by Kadyrov. Earlier this week the billionaire had challenged Putin to a 'single combat' with Ukraine as the prize. Although the representatives of the Russian government did not respond to the tweets, the Russian space agency chief had called Musk a 'weakling' for challenging Putin.
