Elijah Wood fascinated by India's culture
The Lord of the Rings" star Elijah Wood, who is on his maiden India visit, says the country was on top of his bucket list.

Wood will spin the disc with DJ Zack Cowie for Wooden Wisdom during his three-city tour of India. He has already performed in Mumbai and his next stop is Delhi today followed by Hyderabad.
"India is vibrant, palatable and fascinating. It's all fresh and new. This is the country that I wanted to visit my whole life. So all that we are taking in is completely a new sensation and we are exploring more," Wood said here.

"It's a culture that has fascinated me. It's a magical and mystical place from afar. It's been on my travel list for long."
The actor, 34, shot to global fame with his role of Frodo Baggins in the JRR Tolkein's movie adaptations "The Lord of the Rings" and "Hobbit" trilogies.
As far as Bollywood music is concerned, Wood and his team have mixed "I Am a Disco Dancer", "Dil Mera" and "Chhodo Sanam" among others to be played during their India tour.
"I never said that I will collaborate with Bollywood musicians. My knowledge of Bollywood is limited. But my favourite musicians are Asha Bhonsle, Bappi Lahiri and guitarist/musician Charanjit Singh.

"We have music from all around the world and different periods. We have got music from the 70s and the 80s as well international music from Poland, Lebanon, Africa, New York," he added.
"Eating local food and buying local records is something that we do on all our trips," he adds.
The actor-turned-musician said he would like to come again to India and be part of music festivals.
