On the occasion of Navami, Kajol celebrated with director Ayan Mukerji, actor Ranbir Kapoor and actress Mouni Roy. Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan also spent quality time with the Mukerjis. On the same day, actress-director Revathi accompanied Kajol to the Puja pandal in Mumbai to seek blessings for their upcoming movie 'Salaam Venky'. Kajol took to Instagram to share a video of her pandal visit with Revathi. Her caption read, "Seeking Durga Ma's blessings and yours. For our new offering 'Salaam Venky'."
For the occasion, the 48-year-old actress dazzled in a peach-coloured organza saree with floral print, Revathi opted for a blue saree.

Directed by Revathi, 'Salaam Venky' is inspired by the true story of a mother's strength when faced with life's challenges. The film was earlier titled 'The Last Hurrah'.
Revathi had earlier directed films such as the National Award-winning movie 'Mitr, My Friend', and the Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty-starrer 2004 drama 'Phir Milenge'.
