Ducati brings new Panigale V4 to India starting at Rs 23.50 lakh
The Diavel 1260 and 1260 S are aso launched, tagged at Rs 18.49 lakh and Rs 21.49 lakh.

NEW DELHI: Italian superbike maker Ducati on Monday said it has launched updated versions of Panigale V4 and Diavel 1260 in India. The BSVI compliant Panigale V4 and V4 S are priced at Rs 23.50 lakh and Rs 28.40 lakh, respectively while the Diavel 1260 and 1260 S are tagged at Rs 18.49 lakh and Rs 21.49 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).

With the launch of these new models, the company has already delivered on eight bikes of the 12 launches promised for India in 2021, Ducati said in a statement.
"We set out with an aggressive BSVI bike launch plan for 2021 and I am delighted that we have been able to deliver on it. Both the Panigale V4, V4 S and the Diavel 1260, 1260 S are an exciting addition to our entire range of bikes and helps us get closer to a more versatile line-up," Ducati India Managing Director Bipul Chandra noted.

While the Diavel caters to riders looking for a power cruiser to munch miles on, the Panigale is a track enthusiast's dream and represents Ducati's best in the super bike category, he added.
Bookings are now open for the new bikes across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi - NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata & Chennai, and deliveries will begin as soon as lockdown restrictions are lifted, the company noted.

Powering the Audi Q2 is a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine, developing 190PS and 320Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed DSG (twin-clutch) automatic. It makes for a claimed 0-100kmph in a sprightly 6.5 seconds.

Jumping on the bandwagon, luxury brand Mercedes launched a midsize SUV, AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe, priced at Rs 1.2 crore (ex-showroom pan-India), in September.
The GLE-class performance SUV Coupe was displayed at the Auto Show 2020 in Greater Noida and is the first AMG 53 series in the country. The model comes with 3 litre V6 biturbo engine, which churns out 390 hp of power, 23 hp more than the previous model.

Premium motorcycle brand KTM, part of the Bajaj Auto group, launched KTM 250 Adventure model priced at Rs 2,48,256 (ex-showroom Delhi) in November.
The bike is powered by a 248 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which generates power of 30 hp and is mated with a six-speed gearbox.
It is equipped with an ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) system by Bosch with an additional off-road mode that can be engaged via a button on the dashboard, allowing riders to steer the rear end into the corners with ease.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launched its first BSVI-compliant premium motorcycle, the 2020 Africa Twin Adventure Sports priced at Rs 15.35 lakh (ex-showroom, India), in March.
Honda has replaced the previous 998cc motor with a larger 1084cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. While the previous motor pumped out 86.04bhp and 93.1Nm, the updated mill is capable of producing 102bhp at 7,500rpm and 105Nm at 6,250rpm.
This substantial increase has been achieved by altering the intake and exhaust systems of the powerplant.
Adding to its touring credentials is a larger 24.8 litre fuel tank while the tall windscreen gets five steps of adjustability. For an added comfort in cold regions, heated grips have also been incorporated.
