"I love riding to Goa. The BangaloreGoa road has everything that a rider would desire. It has straight stretches of highway, twisting ghats and then, once you are out of that terrain, you hit the sea. There can’t be a ride more pleasant and bright. The distance can also be covered in a day. It’s a long ride that covers highways, ghats, sea and beaches and in the endpartying. What else can be better than this?"

"I used to be a bike guy earlier. But now I am a car person. And if I have to pick one place that I’ll drive to during monsoon, it would be to my hometown in Mangalore. The roads are really clean and during rains, you get to see everything: greenery, mountains and the sea

Anushree Tainwala Executive Director Marketing, Samsonite South Asia

"I love driving down to my house in Igatpuri near Nashik in the monsoons. The setting is perfect — clouds all around, sounds of the howling wind and the earthy fragrance of wet soil. All this, combined with spicy thecha, bhakri and bhajiyas from the village, makes it the ideal monsoon getaway.

"Delhi and North India’s hill stations have some great roads and I love driving out for long weekends, which is rare with my busy work schedule, but I do try and fi nd time few times a year. I enjoy drives in the hills; particularly to Leh, Srinagar and many towns in Himachal. Another favourite is the Mumbai-Lonavala stretch. India has beautiful scenic vistas from snow-capped peaks to coastal plains and beaches and it is an adventure to explore new frontiers. I also had a great time exploring parts of Europe by road, especially the Amalfi coast."
