Netizens reviews Drishyam 3
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one viewer shared their reaction without giving away any spoilers and wrote, "#Drishyam3 has been watched. No spoilers, but what unfolds this time is something you REALLY need to see for yourself."The early reactions on social media have largely been positive, with viewers praising the film for its tension, twists and performances. The franchise has built its popularity around Vijay Salgaonkar’s ability to stay one step ahead while protecting his family, and viewers appear to have found that tension intact in the latest chapter.
One detailed review called the film “brilliant” and gave it a rating of 3.25 out of 5. The viewer praised Jaideep Ahlawat for adding intensity to the story and said Ajay Devgn once again maintains the pressure around Vijay without losing the character’s sharpness.
The same user also praised Prakash Raj’s portions but felt that Shriya Saran did not have much to do apart from one important scene. According to the review, the final 30 minutes were among the more engaging parts of the film.
Climax gets special mention
The climax appears to be one of the biggest talking points among the early reactions. One viewer felt that, "the Last 30 Minutes is more engaging, unlike the original version that kept stretching the climax. Only thing is that we don't get to see the Emotional Side of the hero."Another X user gave the film 4 out of 5 and described it as tense and gripping, with several twists. The viewer praised Ajay Devgn’s performance as Vijay Salgaonkar and called Jaideep Ahlawat a major highlight. The user also described the film as a satisfying conclusion to the story.
While the reactions have been largely positive, not everyone agreed on every aspect of the film. One detailed review pointed out that the Hindi version takes a more commercial approach towards the ending when compared with Jeethu Joseph’s Malayalam version. The viewer felt that the Malayalam story retained more of Vijay’s intellectual side, while the Hindi adaptation takes a more convenient route towards the conclusion.
Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat impress
Ajay Devgn’s performance has been one of the recurring points in the early reviews. Viewers have praised the actor for once again bringing Vijay’s calm and calculated nature to the screen while keeping the tension alive.Jaideep Ahlawat has also received strong reactions. One viewer specifically talked about his performance and said the actor adds another layer of intensity to the film.
Shriya Saran and Prakash Raj have also featured in the early discussions. While one viewer felt Shriya had limited scope in the film, Prakash Raj’s portions were described as effective.
