Drishyam franchise has been a promising one ever since its first part released. Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar once again returned on-screen with its third and concluding part, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, and the movie has been drawing audiences. The Hindi crime thriller has delivered a strong early run, and now it has crossed worldwide collection crossing the Rs 300 crore mark. Amid the celebrations, a few behind the scenes emotions and worries have also garnered attention with actress Shriya Saran, who played Ajay Devgn's wife, Nandini Salgaonkar, recalling her pre-release nervousness and the director Abhishek Pathak's wife Shivaleeka Oberoi's heartfelt message.

Drishyam 3 crosses Rs 300 crore worldwide

According to Sacnilk, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion collected a net Rs 21 crore on Day 4 across 16,274 shows. Its total India gross collection has reached Rs 237 crore, while the India net stands at Rs 197.50 crore. The film added another Rs 5 crore from overseas on Day 4, taking its overseas gross to Rs 66 crore. Its worldwide gross collection has consequently reached Rs 303 crore.

Shriya Saran reveals sleepless night before release

As the movie continues to mint money, actress Shriya Saran candidly admitted feeling the pressure before the release of the movie. In an interview with the IANS, the actress shared that she was unable to sleep the night before the movie release as she constantly wondered how audience would respond to Drishyam 3: The Conclusion. She kept "revisiting" every scene emotionally and mentally. She also added the responsibility the movie carries because it is labelled as a family drama and mystery that plays with emotions.


The actress added that the strength of the movie lies less in spectacle and more in its ability to connect with the audience.

Shivaleeka Oberoi gets emotional over Abhishek Pathak's film

As Drishyam 3 received a grand reception, Abhishek Pathak's wife Shivaleeka Oberoi also shared her emotional response. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Shivaleeka shared a video from a movie theatre and wrote that she “teared up” while watching the film on the big screen. She recalled her husband's journey, "sacrifices, difficult days, time apart and moments that tested them. Shivaleeka said she had continued believing in Abhishek, his vision and what he was creating.

She added that seeing the world celebrate his work made “every bit of it feel worth it”. Reflecting on their daughter Aarika, Shivaleeka also wrote about how special it could feel for her one day to know that her father directed Drishyam. She ended her emotional note by declaring, “So incredibly proud to be your wife!”

Drishyam 3 story and cast

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is a crime thriller co-written, produced and directed by Abhishek Pathak. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav. The film released in theatres on October 2, 2026, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. Unlike its predecessors, it features an original story and is not narratively connected to the Malayalam counterpart starring Mohanlal.
