With Earth enjoying a relatively peaceful period, Beerus awakens from a long sleep and learns about the Saiyan who defeated Frieza. His search for this mysterious warrior eventually puts him on a collision course with Goku.
The trailer features plenty of action while also showcasing the upgraded animation and reworked scenes that will distinguish this version from the original series.
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is an enhanced version
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is not a completely new story. Instead, it revisits the early storyline of the original Dragon Ball Super, which first aired between 2015 and 2018.Toei Animation has reportedly gone back to the existing material and made extensive changes. These include redrawn sequences, re-rendered footage, additional cuts and a reconstructed narrative. The production also includes newly recorded dubbing along with updated music and sound effects.
The idea is to give the older storyline a fresh presentation while making the action sequences more visually impactful. The project is also expected to bring the storytelling closer to the original concepts associated with creator Akira Toriyama.
