Dr. D's column: Games people play
Dear Dr D
We are puzzled by a controversy over a recent decision we made. You see, we nominated this popular figure to be the goodwill ambassador for an upcoming international games event. This was done transparently and the figure qualified purely through merit.

Indeed, though the role did not demand the individual’s actual participation in the events, we decided to see how he might comparatively fare. We concluded the individual would, in fact, fare brilliantly. Here is our analysis, based on his history:

- Racing (his car fast. Very fast)

- Shooting (blackbuck quite accurately, and shooting movies also competently)

- Running (away from the scene of the crime)

- Wrestling (with girlfriends)

- Hurdles (cleared easily.

Especially legal hurdles)

- Swimming (against the tide of informed public opinion)

- Dressage (Ed Hardy and Lux Cozy)

- Discus (all right we concede he may not be that good at discuss or debate)

So there you have it Doc. We think the individual, who is ideal, would clearly make a good choice. So why the controversy? We are, as we said, puzzled.

Dear Ass,

I suspect that you are jocks and not nerds. But you do know that you are looking for a goodwill and not a goodwilly ambassador?.
