Dr D gives a hilarious solution to New Zealand XI's problem, tells them how to get over the Super over tragedy
Dr D empathizes with New Zealand XI.

Dear Dr D,
There are some epic riddles in the world that have gone down in history. Such as: Plato asking: “Is the universe infinite?” Socrates wondering: “Is the soul eternal?”
That Sister in the nunnery asking: “How do you solve a problem like Maria?” The prince of Denmark posing: “To be or not to be?”
We have something of that magnitude to ask of you and the world: How do you get past India in the Super Over?
Please tell, Doc. We’ve thrown everything at it. We have batted out of our skins and bowled as tightly as the skin of a gooseberry. Our fielding has always been at the edge of performance. But these Indians seem to overcome it with ease. Tell us how to make it a closer run thing that we have not been able to do so far.
New Zealand XI,
Wellington
Dear NZ XI,
In the spirit in which the question has been asked, I can offer an answer. Buddha was a contemporary of Plato and Socrates and said there was no point to pondering on the imponderables. You just have to accept it and move on.
