Doing 'Point Break' reboot is dream come true for Luke Bracey
"Point Break" is an action crime thriller film directed by Kathryn Bigelow, starring Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves, Lori Petty and Gary Busey.

The 26-year-old actor was only two when the original was released and he grew up on the film, reported Contactmusic.
"It's a movie I grew up with in Australia. I also grew up surfing on the beaches of Sydney, and it's kind of handed to you with your first surfboard if you're born in the '90s (laughs). So if you get an e-mail saying there's a potential you could be Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves' character in the original), your eyes go wide and you get really nervous.
Luke Bracey plays Utah, left, and Edgar Ramirez plays Bodhi in a scene from 'Point Break.' In a remake of the 1990s cult classic 'Point Break,' extreme sports of every kind, not just surfing, take center stage and the filmmakers used athletes, not stuntmen, to make the scenes as realistic as possible. "You get the chance to meet the director, then you do it, and suddenly you re Johnny Utah, and you're like 'My God, this is real!' This is a dream come true, something I never thought would happen in my life," Bracey said.
The reboot released last Friday.
