Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh is currently mourning the death of his nephew Divit Auluck. He died in a tragic accident that took place in Jalandhar, Punjab. The accident happened in the early hours of Sunday and also claimed the life of Divit's friend, Aarav Talwar.

Meanwhile, Punjabi singer and rapper Honey Singh rushed from Dubai to Jalandhar after learning about his nephew's death in a road accident. The singer met his grieving family and became emotional as he hugged his brother. A video of Honey Singh's visit to Divit's house has now surfaced online.

The clip shows Honey Singh getting out of his car and hugging Divit's father, who breaks down in tears.

Who was Divit Auluck? He died in a road accident

For the unversed, Divit was the son of Dinesh Auluck, the owner of the popular Punjabi music label Speed Records. According to ANI report, Divit reportedly lost his life along with his friend Aarav Talwar in an accident that took place around 3:30 am on Sunday. Divit's phone reportedly had its crash detection feature activated at the time of the accident, with his mother's number saved as an emergency contact.

Following the crash, an alert along with the location was sent to her mobile phone. She later informed the family and relatives, who tried to reach Divit by phone but got no response. They eventually learnt about the accident after contacting his friends.

Divit Auluck's last rites in Jalandhar

The final rites of Divit Auluck, nephew of singer Yo Yo Honey Singh and son of Speed Records owner Dinesh Auluck, were performed at the Model Town cremation ground in Jalandhar on Tuesday. Several renowned personalities from the Punjabi music and entertainment industry, including Babbu Mann, Jazzy B, Amrit Maan, Satinder Sartaaj and Gippy Grewal, gathered to pay their last respects.
