LOS ANGELES: An author has sued Oscar-winning 3D computer-animated musical film 'Frozen' for USD 250 million, claiming that the movie's story is based on her autobiography.

'Frozen' is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale 'The Snow Queen' but the author Isabella Tanikumi says it is her own own story about growing up in the Andean mountains of Peru, reported TMZ.

Tanikumi says Disney plagiarised and copied the story, characters, and plots from her book.
