Disney Plus is developing a new series 'Daredevil' on Marvel hero

The 2000 action thriller by film-maker Rajkumar Santoshi starred Anil Kapoor alongside Madhuri Dixit. The film, which bagged two National Film Awards including the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration, stars Dixit as Anjali, best friend of lead character Para SF officer Major Jaidev (Anil Kapoor).

The 1993 film, directed and written by Sudhir Mishra, featured Dixit alongside Shabana Azmi and Om Puri. The movie was set in the backdrop of India's largest slum, and went on to win three National Awards, including that for Best Feature Film in Hindi.

The 1989 crime thriller was directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and starred Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar alongside Dixit. The actress had earlier said that the role of Paro, a strong female lead in 'Parinda', holds a "special place in her heart".

In the sequel to 2010 black comedy 'Ishqiya', Abhishek Chaubey tells the tale of two crooks, Khallu and Babban (Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi) who fall in love with Begum Para (Madhuri Dixit Nene) and her aide, Muniya (Huma Qureshi).The interesting twists and fun performances keep you hooked.

The Nana Patekar directorial starred Dixit in the role of Shirley whose fiancé Peter D'Souza is killed by goons. The actress received a lot of love for her role in the film.

'Sangeet', a film by director K. Vishwanath starred Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles. In the film, the actress played a double role. Dixit was appreciated for her sensitive portrayal in the film even though it didn't do well at the box office.
