Discover the power of purple! Tips to choose the right hue

Micromax's Rahul Sharma grabbed eyeballs recently when he stepped out in an aubergine shade suit. Here's how you can get a similar look:

- Wear a colour that suits your skin tone and matches the occasion. It could be purple or even fluorescent green. The suit should be an extension of your personality.

- Cold hues like blue, green and purple look great on lighter skin, adventurous and warm colours such as yellow and orange do justice to dusky skin.

- If you're working with separates, keep the lighter shade for the upper half and darker colour for the trousers.

- Try to break head-to-toe colour monotony in a suit by choosing a different coloured shirt, pocket square and cufflinks. Always works!
