Dipika Pallikal after Asiad bronze: Where are they who’d said marriage might slow down my career?

A few days before adorning her neck with a bronze in squash singles at the Asian Games, Dipika Pallikal wore her heart on social media. She was filled with gratitude towards her cricketer husband Dinesh Karthik on their third marriage anniversary.

In an effusive message on Instagram, the 26-year-old thanked the wicketkeeper batsman for supporting her career. “Where are those people who told me marriage might slow down my career? 3 years ago I made the best decision of my life to marry this boy,” Dipika wrote.



“Today, some 7,300 miles apart from each other, I’m sitting at the Asian Games village, playing my 3rd Asian games and thinking to myself that I wouldn’t be here today without this boy by my side.”
