Dipa Karmakar not bogged down by knee injury, gears up for 2020 Tokyo Olympics
Karmakar missed the Commonwealth Games due to her injury.

Speaking to ETPanache about her recovery, Karmakar said, “Whenever I am injured, I try to mentally be in the game. I follow the sport and though I am not able to physically do the practice I would like, I spend a lot of time in the gym. I am there from 9 am to noon and 5 pm to 8 pm.”
It looks like her hard work is paying off. She is all set for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Prior to the Asian Games, Karmakar won gold at the Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Turkey too.
