Although he is better known for chartbusters such as Born To Shine, 5 Taara, GOAT, etc., and his powerful voice, Punjabi singing sensation Diljit Dosanjh is also known for his lean physique. In 2025, the actor-singer shared a video on his fitness regimen. He was shown heading to the chicken coop and then chasing hens. After climbing up and down the stairs, Diljit is shown performing a series of exercises, including push-ups, jumping jacks, cobra stretches and chest presses. After the gruelling workout session, the Udta Punjab actor was seen sipping on a glass of green juice followed by a breakfast bowl filled with fresh fruits and a scoop of protein powder.

A Look At His Clean, Simple Diet

In a separate video that same year, Dosanjh shared a sneak peek of his diet. He was seen preparing a glass of green juice – neem leaves, turmeric and water – which he said is a concoction he has without fail every morning. Breakfast was palin but hearty – a bowl of dahlia (cracked wheat), which is headed with some protein powder, pomegranate seeds and sunflower seeds. However, being a true blue Punjabi foodie, his meal did not end here – it also included omelettes, fruits such as watermelon, avocado, kiwi, and blueberries, avocado toast, and a glass of fresh orange juice.

His midday meal consists of delicious dishes such as creamy pasta salad, roasted tangdi kebabs, crunchy chapli kebabs and grilled sandwiches generously coated with mayonnaise. For dessert, he savours chocolate nankhatai garnished with cashews, accompanied by a refreshing glass of watermelon juice.

Some Benefits Of Neem & Turmeric Juice

Sadhguru states that adding neem and turmeric to your daily regimen can provide various possible health advantages. He indicates that taking turmeric on an empty stomach could aid in detoxifying the body, though he admits it should not be considered a cancer treatment. He suggests consuming marble-sized portions of neem and turmeric in the morning, labelling them as natural detoxifying agents.

Sadhguru elaborates that mixing neem with turmeric could assist in expanding the cellular structure of the body, facilitating more effective energy entry and permeation throughout the system. From his viewpoint, these components offer physical assistance for this process, while consistent sadhana, or a dedicated yogic practice, can enhance its impact. While substances like strong coffee, sugar, and nicotine can create a brief spike in energy, he differentiates this fleeting increase from the enduring energy related to yogic practices and the body's capacity to conserve and slowly release energy as time passes.

He suggests taking neem and turmeric with warm water mixed with a little honey. In his opinion, this blend aids in purifying the body and enhances its cellular framework to better absorb and hold energy. These methods are a component of his larger strategy for physical vitality and inner wellness.

Sadhguru further recommends integrating neem, black pepper, honey, and turmeric into this practice. He prepares by roughly crushing about 10 to 12 peppercorns and allowing them to soak in a few spoonfuls of honey for the night. The blend can be taken the next morning, with the peppercorns chewed well. He additionally recommends combining turmeric with the honey. He also asserts that removing dairy from the diet might naturally aid in lowering phlegm production.

From a scientific perspective, turmeric contains curcumin, a compound studied for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Research suggests that curcumin may influence inflammatory pathways and help protect cells against oxidative stress, although its effects depend on factors such as dosage, formulation and absorption.
