Dilip Kumar's brother Aslam Khan passes away after testing positive for Covid-19

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar's brother Aslam Khan, who had tested positive for Covid-19, passed away early Friday morning. According new agency ANI, that confirmed the news of his death, Khan was also suffering from diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease.


Faisal Farooqui, who often tweets on behalf of the icon, also put out a tweet that was shared by Kumar's official handle.



Aslam Khan, 88, along with brother Ehsaan, 90, had been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital late Saturday night after they tested positive for the novel coronavirus last week.

Earlier, the doctor treating them had told ETimes, "They are critical because of their age and comorbidities. Their vital organs are beginning to become a cause of concern."
