Where can you watch Jennifer Lawrence's Die My Love?
Die My Love, a deeply unsettling psychological drama helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Lynne Ramsay, has gradually emerged as one of the most widely discussed cinematic releases in recent memory. The film made its global debut at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on May 17, where it was selected to compete for the coveted Palme d’Or. Upon its premiere, the project drew strong critical attention, with reviewers offering largely favorable reactions. Much of the praise centered on Jennifer Lawrence’s fearless and emotionally exposed performance, which many critics identified as the driving force behind the film’s intensity. Her work in the film later secured her a nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards. Following its festival success, Die My Love arrived in cinemas on November 7, 2025, before transitioning to digital audiences. The film is currently available for streaming exclusively on MUBI.

At the heart of Die My Love is Grace, portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence, a woman navigating early motherhood alongside her husband Jackson and their newborn child. The family resides in a remote farmhouse in rural Montana, far removed from society and emotional support systems. What initially appears to be a subdued portrait of domestic life gradually transforms into an unnerving psychological study. The narrative delves into the suffocating effects of postpartum depression, chronic loneliness, and the erosion of personal identity. As Grace struggles to reconcile her sense of self with the demands of motherhood, her inner turmoil intensifies. Caught between obligation and an aching desire for independence, she begins a frightening mental descent where perception and reality become increasingly difficult to distinguish.

The film features a strong supporting cast that adds depth to Grace’s unraveling world. Robert Pattinson plays Jackson, her emotionally distant husband. LaKeith Stanfield appears as Karl, while Nick Nolte takes on the role of Harry. Sissy Spacek portrays Pam, with Gabrielle Rose as Jen and Debs Howard as Marsha. Marcus Della Rosa is seen as the Lifeguard, and Sarah Lind rounds out the cast as Cheryl.

Die My Love is backed by an impressive team of producers, including Martin Scorsese, Jennifer Lawrence, Justine Ciarrocchi, Molly Smith, Thad Luckinbill, Trent Luckinbill, and Andrea Calderwood. The film was developed under the banners of Black Label Media, Sikelia Productions, and Excellent Cadaver, bringing together powerful creative forces behind this emotionally harrowing cinematic experience.
