#DidYouKnow that the world's fastest elevator can take you to the top floor at 73.8 km/h?
The 121-storey, 632-metre tall Shanghai Tower in China holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest elevator.

Here are some other speed demons that will make your head spin.
PASSENGER TRAIN
The Shanghai Maglev is the fastest train in the world at the moment with a maximum operating speed of 431 km/h. Unlike regular trains, it uses electrically charged magnets to lift and move carriages above the rail tracks. It can reach its top speed from zero mph in four minutes. It operates between Long Yang Road and Pudong international airport in China. The passenger capacity of the train is 574 and it completes the 30 miles journey in seven minutes and 20 seconds.
POLICE CAR
If you happen to be in Dubai and break the traffic rules, don't try to evade the police. There's no point in engaging in a chase because the city police might be trailing you in a Bugatti Veyron speeding over 400 km/h. The 14-strong fleet of supercars are usually spotted around the Dubai Mall area and Jumeirah Beach Residence.
