Did you know that ex-Housing.com CEO Jason Kothari worked as Jackie Chan's assistant?

Jason Kothari, the new Chief Strategy and Investment officer at Snapdeal, is a man of many interests. Of course there’s business, but Kothari is also a huge fan of comic books and is a movie geek. In fact, his first brush with the movie business was at a very early age, and with a world-famous actor.

Kothari tells ETPanache, “The first job I ever had was when I was 15. It was with a leading film distribution company in Hong Kong, where I grew up. I was an assistant to Jackie Chan.”

Apart from Chan’s cool moves and comic timing, Jason was also impressed by the actor’s dedication to his art.

He says, “Chan is a true professional. Even though his natural personality is very different, when he’s in front of the camera, he consistently portrays the persona of a slapstick action comedian with family values. He’s dedicated to entertaining in this manner, and it’s admirable.”.
