Rumours about the Karate Kid star’s demise spread like wildfire online when an X user named Abdul dropped a black-and-white picture of the actor-martial arts expert and captioned it: “Jackie Chan 1954-2026" and wrote, Jackie Chan had passed the age of 71; he’s 72 now, the Kung Fu legend. The post became viral with over 26K likes. However, many netizens clarified that the Rush Hour star was very much alive! Chan’s last public appearance was in July this year in Singapore, as per The Straits Times. Chan made an unexpected appearance at Pei Chun Public School as part of a surprise visit arranged by the Lim Family Foundation. According to reports, the actor met and interacted with more than 900 students during the event. A video from the visit also captured Chan singing Hard to Say Goodbye for those in attendance.

If he is not, then he will just be wasting mine..."
