Dhurandhar box office collection Day 12: Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna’s film crosses Rs 400 crore mark, surpasses Prabhas’ Salaar lifetime

Aditya Dhar’s spy actioner Dhurandhar continues to rewrite box office norms. After a record-smashing second weekend, the Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna-starrer has shown no signs of slowing down on weekdays, an area where most big-ticket releases usually see a sharp dip. Now, the film has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark in just 12 days.

Dhurandhar box office collection day-wise

On Day 12, the film once again held firm at the ticket counters. According to early trade estimates by Sacnilk.com, Dhurandhar collected around Rs 30 crore net on Tuesday, matching its second Monday figures. Now, the total collection stands at Rs 411.25 crore.



This strong push has majorly boosted the film’s second-week performance. With five days still remaining in its second week, Dhurandhar has already amassed an estimated Rs 204 crore net, making it the only Hindi film to cross the Rs 200 crore net mark in Week 2.

What has grabbed our attention is how close Dhurandhar is to overtaking its own opening-week numbers. The film had earned Rs 207.25 crore net in its first week, and with one more weekday still to go, experts believe the second-week total could finish ahead of the opening week.

The film’s overall domestic run has also entered elite territory. After 12 days in theatres, Dhurandhar has crossed the Rs 400 crore net mark in India, with collections hovering between Rs 410 and Rs 411 crore, as per trade estimates. On the gross front, the film stands at approximately Rs 493.5 crore, and is widely expected to cross the Rs 500 crore gross milestone in India on Day 13.

This surge has seen Dhurandhar overtake several major titles on the all-time charts. By entering the Rs 400 crore net club, the film has surpassed the lifetime domestic collections of Aamir Khan’s Dangal, Prabhas’ Salaar. According to Sacnilk, Salaar's lifetime collection stands at Rs 406.45 crore.

The film’s success is not limited to the domestic market. Overseas as well, Dhurandhar has performed strongly, crossing Rs 130 crore at the global box office. This has taken its worldwide collection to an estimated Rs 623.5 crore, as per trade reports.

In the process, Dhurandhar has also broken the previous second-week record held by Pushpa 2: The Rule, which had collected Rs 196 crore net. Dhar’s film managed to surpass that figure in just five days, setting a new high for Hindi releases.

Dhurandhar is a spy thriller helmed by Aditya Dhar, with Ranveer Singh playing Hamza, an Indian intelligence officer who goes undercover in Pakistan’s Lyari underworld. The film also features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Arjun Rampal in important roles. The story will continue and conclude in a second part, which is slated to hit theatres on March 19.
