Everyone is eagerly awaiting the sequel to 2025’s highest-grossing film Dhurandhar. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to hit theatres on March 19, 2026. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Sara Arjun in key roles. As excitement builds, actor Yami Gautam has now shared her honest reaction to the sequel and addressed speculation about a possible cameo.

Yami Gautam shares her experience of watching Dhurandhar 2

Speaking at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2026, Yami talked about her on her long-standing belief in the franchise. She said she had always been confident that Dhurandhar would be a film that makes Indians proud. Recalling her first experience with the script, Yami revealed that she was shooting for Article 370 when Aditya handed her the initial 40 pages. Even that short portion left her emotional. She shared that she could not find words at the time, but her reaction itself made it clear to Aditya how deeply she was moved.

Praising her husband’s dedication, Yami said she has witnessed the hard work and sincerity he has invested in the project. According to her, the film has been crafted with strong belief and honesty, keeping both the audience and the country in mind.

When asked about Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Yami did not hold back. She revealed that she has already watched the sequel and described it as “beyond extraordinary.”

Explaining her emotional response, she said, "I was really emotional. I had to catch a flight that day so I couldn’t say anything to Aditya but later, I couldn’t do anything. I had to read a script but I couldn’t, I had to watch something but I couldn’t. I was just watching the beautiful sunset outside and wondering what will I tell Aditya when the flight lands. I wanted to justify my feelings on the film and what I experienced. Aditya loves his audience and the country and he has given his life’s effort to make this film. Dhurandhar 2 will be an experience that audience will never forget.”
