Ranveer Singh in Dhurandhar 2
Dhurandhar 2 is continuing its phenomenal run at the box office, consistently breaking milestones with its impressive earnings. Featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead, the film experienced a noticeable dip in collections on its fifth day, which fell on a Monday. After earning a massive Rs 114.85 crore the previous day, the numbers declined to Rs 65 crore as per a Sacnilk.com report. Despite this drop, the film maintained a strong hold, comfortably staying in the double-digit range, according to industry estimates.

The film’s overall performance remains extraordinary. Its net earnings in India have now reached Rs 519.12 crore, while the gross domestic collection has climbed to Rs 619.76 crore. On the international front, the movie has amassed Rs 210 crore, pushing its worldwide total to an impressive Rs 829.76 crore across multiple languages. These figures underline the film’s widespread appeal and its ability to draw audiences globally.

Looking at audience turnout, Dhurandhar: The Revenge recorded an average occupancy rate of 44.1% on day five, spread across 20,382 screenings. This marks a drop compared to the previous days, where the film registered significantly higher engagement. It had achieved 79.7% occupancy on day four, 81.6% on day three, 62.6% on day two, and 67.8% on its opening day. Even during early preview shows, the film demonstrated strong interest, clocking an occupancy rate of 64.8% across 11,294 screenings.

The storyline of the film revolves around a gripping espionage narrative. Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the movie follows the journey of an Indian secret agent operating deep within hostile territory. In the first installment, his character, Hamza—whose true identity is Jaskirat, an undercover operative—successfully penetrates the ranks of a dangerous criminal syndicate based in Lyari. He ultimately eliminates its ruthless leader, Rehman Dakait, through a calculated mission.

The sequel builds on this premise, depicting the aftermath of that strategic takedown. Hamza consolidates his influence, gradually asserting control over Lyari’s criminal network as well as its political landscape, tightening his dominance in a world fraught with danger and deception.
