Compared to the thirteenth day, when the film earned Rs 27.75 crore, the latest figures reflect a drop of approximately 27 percent. Despite this dip, the cumulative earnings in India stand at over Rs 1,100 crore gross. Internationally, the film continues to contribute significantly, with an additional Rs 7 crore coming from overseas markets on day fourteen, pushing its global foreign earnings to Rs 365 crore. Altogether, the film’s total worldwide gross now reaches an impressive Rs 1,466 crore, highlighting its massive appeal across regions.
Helmed by Aditya Dhar, the film is a high-octane spy action thriller and serves as the concluding chapter of a two-part narrative. Backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, it features an ensemble cast that includes Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi, among others. Many performers reprise their roles, strengthening continuity from the first installment.
The narrative follows an Indian intelligence operative working covertly within Karachi’s criminal underworld and political circles. As the story unfolds, the protagonist continues his mission while seeking justice for past terror incidents, all while navigating increasingly complex threats.
Drawing inspiration from real-world developments, the storyline loosely reflects several major events from South Asia, such as Operation Lyari, the 2014 Indian general elections, and the 2016 demonetisation initiative. These elements add a layer of realism to the fictional plot.
At its core, the film traces the transformation of Jaskirat Singh, a young man whose life takes a dramatic turn when he is imprisoned under dire circumstances. Just as he faces a grim fate, government authorities recruit him as an undercover agent. While the first installment depicted his entry into Pakistan and infiltration of a dangerous gang, the sequel explores his rise to dominance within that network through intelligence and calculated strategy.
