Dhurandhar 2 box office collection day-wise
The action-packed sequel recently crossed the significant Rs 600 crore milestone in domestic net collections. According to early estimates shared by Sacnilk, the film earned approximately Rs 47.70 crore on its seventh day, taking its total to around Rs 623.42 crore in India. Despite the usual weekday slowdown, the film has managed to sustain steady footfall across both multiplexes and single-screen theatres.In a remarkable feat, Dhurandhar 2 has already overtaken the lifetime domestic collections of major hits such as Gadar 2, Pathaan, and Animal within just a few weeks of its release. The film also moved past the final box office tally of Chhaava, which had collected a little over Rs 601 crore in India.
The film’s success is not limited to the Indian market. Worldwide, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has reportedly collected around Rs 937 crore, pushing it closer to the prestigious Rs 1000 crore club. In the process, it has already outperformed the global earnings of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Animal, highlighting its massive international appeal.
Vicky Kaushal praises the film’s success
Chhaava actor Vicky Kaushal, who attended the International Film Festival of Delhi, praised Aditya Dhar for the film’s impressive performance at the box office. Speaking to PTI, Vicky said he was delighted to see the film receiving so much love from audiences and added that he is looking forward to watching it soon once he returns to Mumbai.Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features a notable ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. Their performances, combined with large-scale action sequences and an expansive storyline, have contributed to the film’s widespread appeal.
Released on March 19, the sequel builds on the success of the first Dhurandhar film, which had earned around Rs 1300 crore globally and remained in theatres for months after its release.
