Dharmendra disturbed by wife Hema Malini's accident news

When the news of BJP MP and actress Hema Malini's road accident near Dausa, Rajasthan, broke on Thursday evening, it upset her entire family and husband Dharmendra, who were in Mumbai.

It is said that the veteran actor, who was in his Juhu bungalow, heard about the incident through sources and he immediately switched on the news channels to catch the updates. One hears that Dharamji was visibly disturbed with the news and spent a restless night.

On Friday morning, news had it the actress, who was rushed to a hospital in Jaipur, had suffered a cut near the right eyebrow, nasal fracture, injury on para-nasal points and was operated upon between midnight and 2 am. She is in the ICU, stable and recovering.



Dharmendra was awaiting daughter Esha and Hema back in Mumbai

Hema's older daughter, Esha, with her husband Bharat Takhtani, rushed from Mumbai to Jaipur, while the actress' second son-in-law, Vaibhav Vohra went there from Delhi. Till the time of going to press, there was no confirmation on Dharmendra having left for Jaipur. In fact, sources said the injured actress was being flown back to Mumbai.
